Fine Wines of Western Australia and Burgundy

The wild and remote Great Southern region of Western Australia is still writing its first chapter of vinous history and exploring vast untapped potential. The book on Burgundy stretches back over centuries, and its distinction is firmly established. Marchand & Burch unites these distant lands to create a new perspective on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Australian Collection

“Light yellow hue and a restrained but complex bouquet, with great intensity and line as well as underlying complexity and tremendous persistence. The palate is outstanding: great focus and precision, wonderful intensity of lemon and grapefruit citrus fruit flavours, with subtle but important backing from oak and lees touches. An outstanding wine.”

French Collection

“Deepish red colour with a good purple tint. The bouquet is autumnal, forest floor, savoury and leaf-litter. Red cherry underneath. The wine has a delicious flavour and palate texture, which is soft and gently fruit-sweet with finesse and seamlessness. The tannins are very fine. There's a core of fruit sweetness which soars above the abundant tannins. Terrific persistence. Lovely wine, already enjoyable but will undoubtedly reward keeping.”
