2009 Vosne-Romanee

Allen Meadows, www.burghound.com, Issue 41, 2011
"Natural spice notes combine with pretty dark berry fruit and earth aromas while introducing attractively rich, serious and reasonably well-concentrated medium-bodied flavours that possess a mildly rustic tannin spine and very good finishing depth and length...the complexity is most appealing."

"Highly perfumed pinot from this famous area of Burgundy. Steely, earthy thread runs through the lifted floral violet and cherry combination. There is complexity, power and finesse, with a remarkable depth and persistence to a very long finish. It is subtle and gentle yet with underlying power. Perfect with herb-crusted lamb.
