2009 Nuits-St-Georges

Tyson Stelzer, Wine Taste Weekly, January 2012

"There is a definition to the 2009 vintage, enhanced with 30% new oak and massaged with 20% whole bunch, providing a firm, fine, textural tannin structure. With time to unravel, suggestions of cherry kernal, anise, almond and vanilla pod emerge. Patience..." Drink 2019-2034.

"A deft touch of wood sets off earthy red currant and rasberry aromas that merge into rich, round and surprisingly forward middle weight flavours that possess a mouth coating texture and a velvety finish. This also offers good quality for its level."
