2007 Chambertin-Clos de Beze (Grand Cru)

‘Primus inter pares’ (first among equals) is the way that Chambertin Clos de Beze is seen in the company of other grands crus, and this wine shows why.

Burgundian Releases

When two men met in a small village in France in the Burgundy wine region, they were instantly connected through their passion for Pinot Noir. This friendship has bloomed into a partnership producing a collection of both Fine West Australian wines and Burgundian wines.

Pascal Marchand, Burgundian winemaker and ex-régisseur from Domaine Comte Armand and Domaine De La Vougeraie and Jeff Burch, vigneron and owner of Howard Park and MadFish Wines released their first vintage in 2007, with a hand-crafted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Shiraz in Western Australia from carefully selected fruit parcels from small vineyards in both Margaret River Wine region and the Great Southern Wine region.

The house of Marchand and Burch Wines have continued the winemaking journey to include small quantities of fine wines produced in France Burgundy from the birthplace of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. A white Meursault, a Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir and a Grand cru Chambertin Clos de Bèze, with the same commitment to the rhythm of nature and traditional winemaking practices we invite you to enjoy the pursuit of these two friends.
